Nature inspired contemporary art textiles and quilts

Inspired by the colors and the natural outdoor environment, Textilepop’s contemporary art quilts are designed and made by artist Nicki Voss in her California studio.

β€œI love how people interpret Los Angeles in different ways. Designer Nicki Voss took a photo of the city from Griffith Park and transformed it into a quilt.”

MY Story

Textilepop

I have a lifelong fascination with mapping, geography and the outdoors. My quilt work originates with photographs that I take of landscapes and of nature. These photos are the source inspiration for the color composition and graphic layout of each quilt.

β€œVoss simultaneously teaches classes, creates original contemporary quilts, and commission work, creatively challenging herself while embracing her small business, Textilepop…”
