Oak Sky at Twilight Quilted Panel

Based on a photo taken at dusk of California’s iconic Coast Live Oak (Quercus agrifolia), one of most majestic and prolific trees in the state, this contemporary art quilted panel wall hanging picks up the color palette and textures of the leaves, bark and the evening sky (see original source photo above) of the landscape.

The art quilt is made with all new cotton materials. The bias tape was hand cut in the Textilepop studio from the same fabric and specifically matched to the color characteristics of this quilt
